Your Right to Data Deletion
At ARCHIE TECH NEXUS, we respect your right to control your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of any personal data we have collected about you through our WhatsApp Business Cloud API platform or through interactions with businesses managed on our platform.
This right is available to all users, regardless of location, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, and other applicable privacy laws.
What Data Can Be Deleted
Upon request, we can delete the following types of data associated with your identity:
- Message History: All text messages, media messages, and conversation records associated with your phone number
- Contact Information: Your phone number, profile name, and any labels or notes associated with your account
- Media Files: All images, videos, voice notes, documents, and stickers sent to or received from your number
- Interaction Data: Message reactions, read receipts, and delivery status logs
- AI Conversation History: Any AI-generated response context associated with your conversations
Note: Some data may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or to fulfill legitimate business obligations. We will inform you if any data cannot be deleted and the reason why.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:
Submit a Request via This Page
Use the data deletion request form below to submit your request directly. You will need to provide your phone number (including country code) and email address for verification.
Send an Email
Send a data deletion request to penguin@archietech.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your phone number (with country code) and any additional identifying information.
Send a WhatsApp Message
Send a message saying "DELETE MY DATA" to any of our business WhatsApp numbers. We will process your request and confirm via the same channel.
Processing Timeline
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days
- Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request (up to 5 business days)
- Deletion: Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 business days of verification
- Confirmation: You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete
